I worked in high-end retail for 35 years, so design expression is a big part of who I am. It’s refreshing to bring my style to the hospitality world. This industry is exciting, challenging and always changing – and I love it.
STYLE
I’m fascinated by people and what they have to say. Everyone has a story to tell – and I tell mine through design. My goal is to create one-of-a-kind spaces for people to experience new things. It’s not always about beauty, but about warmth and openness.
HOTELS
Coury Hospitality has given me an exciting platform to make a statement through design. Keeping things relative and fresh is just the beginning. I want our guests to have such a memorable experience, so they come back time and time again.
Kara graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Communications. She has delivered consistent design excellence to an extensive portfolio – and is widely recognized for cultivating unique design assets.
