I grew up in Manila, Philippines, and resided with my family in Palm Springs, California for the last few years before I moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  I served as a captain in the Philippine Air Force, collaborating with numerous exceptional leaders. In my moments of tranquility, I find pleasure in observing my Koi Fish in the pond in my backyard. Additionally, I cherish outdoor picnics with my family.


In my role, I focus on reporting the comprehensive results of our business while also positively impacting individuals’ professional growth. The remarkable growth by Coury Hospitality drew me to embark on the next phase of my career here. Witnessing the company’s expansion and having the opportunity to contribute to its continued growth brings me immense satisfaction.


In 1992, I started my professional career with Marriott Hotels, advancing to positions with Le Meridien Americas, Trump Hotels, and Montage Hotels & Resorts. Over the years, I’ve witnessed many team members achieve success in their careers, and I take pride in playing a small role in their professional development. Hospitality, for me, is a deeply engaging field, as creating memories and touching people’s lives is at its core. Working in an industry where happiness is paramount sets hospitality apart from any other.

Steve has built his professional journey in the hospitality and food & beverage sector, contributing his expertise to renowned establishments like the Trump International Hotel Waikiki, Highgate Investment and Hospitality Management Company, Montage Hotels & Resorts, and Omni Hotels & Resorts in Palm Springs, California. Throughout his career, he has assumed key roles such as Director of Finance, Regional Controller, and Chief Financial Officer.
